Hey again Everyone, I'm back with a New blog. It's been a few years since I wrote a blog. Don't really know why I stopped as I use to enjoy writing. I think at some point life just got in the way or I just got in my own way and I stopped.
New Year, New Start
2013 Held a lot of changes for us. I took a new job, We moved to Medford, We lost my Dad and we have a beautiful New Granddaughter. Yep all that happened in just 12 short months and the majority of it happened between May and November. So it's safe to say that my life is very very different then where it was back in 2007 when I wrote my first blog.
I choose " The Wind in Willows" for a number of reasons. I love this classic story, I love books and I love to read but when I think of Willows it reminds me of the big Willow Tree that was in my Grandparents back yard when I was a Kid. I would play under that tree for hours. I use to love to watch that tree blow in breeze. Something about those trees seems sad and weepy but when the wind blows they seem to come to life almost as if they are laughing and happy, but more importantly I remember hanging and swinging on the long branches of this amazing looking tree and although it seems sad and fragile it was actually strong and resilient. A true survivor and that's what I would like to think I am. Through all of life's up and downs and curveballs that get thrown I would like to think I'm strong and resilient Just like that tree.
I'm not sure what this blog will be about , Random stuff mostly. Things that Me and my family experience and maybe even some days nothing at all. But please feel free to comment , or to share something with me. Maybe , Hopefully something I say or do will have a positive effect on someone out there and give them a reason to believe that they too can have a New Year, New Start.
